This drawing was inspired by a photograph I saw in a magazine. I never have come up with a good title for it, but it is one of my favorite drawings I've done.
My mom also fell in love with this drawing, and she became the owner of it after I damaged it putting it in a frame. I was cleaning the glass and held it up toward the window to see if there were any spots left. As I lowered it back down, it slipped, I dropped it, and a corner of the glass punctured the drawing just to the rear of the boot. It wasn't terribly noticeable, but I didn't feel right selling it.
